The objects for which the Federation is established are:

Lending or Borrowing.
To lend, invest or otherwise employ moneys belonging to or entrusted to' the Federation upon any securities or shares or without security upon such terms as may be thought proper and from time to time to vary such transactions in such manner as the Federation may think fit and to borrow or raise moneys or loans. For the purposes of the Federation by promissory notes, bills of exchange, hoondies, and negotiable or transferable instruments,or by mortgage, or by debentures or by debenture stock, perpetual or otherwise, charged upon all or any of the Federation property (both present and future) upon such terms as the Committee may deem expedient, or in such other manner as may be deemed expedient or to take money on deposit at interest or otherwise, and to lend money to customers and others having dealings with the Federation and to guarantee the performance of contracts by any such persons.

 

Buildings
To provide, regulate and maintain a room or rooms or a building or buildings or a godown or godowns or vaults for the purpose of storage of films and subject to any laws or regulations and/or rules framed by the Federation and for the time being in force, to regulate admission to the same and the use and occupation thereof.

Federation's premises for Public Purposes
To permit any of the buildings of the Federation to be used upon such terms as the Committee of the Federation any think fit for meetings, lectures, discussions or for any other purpose which the Federation may think expedient.

Bank Account.
To open current or fixed accounts with any Bank, Bankers, shroffs or merchants and to pay into and to draw money from such accounts.

Land
To acquire by concession, grant, purchase, barter, lease, license, or otherwise, any tract or tracts of land in India or elsewhere together with such rights as may be agreed upon and granted by Government or the rules or owners thereof and to expend such sum of moneys as may be deemed requisite and advisable in the " exploration, survey, use and development thereof.

Houses, Machinery, etc.
To acquire by concession, grant, purchase, barter, lease, license, or otherwise either absolutely or conditionally, and either solely or jointly with others, any house, lands, farms, water-rights, way-leaves, and other works, privileges, rights, hereditaments and any machinery, plant, utensils, trade-marks and other movable and immovable property of any description in India or elsewhere.

Estates
To hold, use, cultivate, work, operate, manage, improve, carry on and to develop resources and undertaking of the Federation and Turn to account any lands and real and personal estate or property and assets of any kind belonging to the Federation or in which the Federation is interested, or any part thereof, or any right over to or in connection therewith.

Construction of Buildings, etc.
To develop and turn to account any land acquired by the Federation or in which it is interested and in particular by laying out and preparing the same for building purposes by constructing, altering, pulling down, decorating, maintaining, keeping up and improving buildings and conveniences, and by planting, paving draining, farming, cultivating, letting on building lease or building agreement, and by advancing money to and entering into contracts and arrangements ot all kinds with builders, tenants and others.

Disposal of Property
To buy or otherwise acquire, sell, exchange, surrender, lease, mortage, charge, convert, turn to account, dispose of, develop, manage and otherwise deal with property and, rights of all kinds and in particular to purchase, take on lease, or in exchange, hire or otherwise acquire ordeal in any real property including land, buildings and hereditaments of’ any tenure or description and easements and any movable property, including machinery, plant and stock-in-trade and any incorporeal or intangible property including’ rights or privileges and to turn the same to account as may seem expedient.
